The Revetec Engine Technology is a break through engine design that is now into its seventh year of development and has finally arrived at the pre-production stage. The Revolutionary REVETEC Engine Design is covered by patents worldwide, to date the results from the Revetec Prototype Engines have been exceptional.

The Hudson Group is proud to have secured the exclusive rights to the Revetec Engine as we are firmly of the belief the Revetec Engine Technology will be in great demand by both Customers and Manufacturers.

The last prototype engine was fitted to our GTM HS Series Trike and show cased to the industry – the first vehicle ever to be powered by a Revetec Engine!

REVETEC Limited is an Australian based Research and Development company who is developing the highly efficient Controlled Combustion Engine (CCE) design. This World Patented design increases the mechanical advantage of an engines bottom end. Some of the most notable benefits of the Revetec Engine Design includes:

  • High torque output.
    During DYNO testing, the Revetec Team recorded 101nm of torque developed by their 450cc Revetec CCE2003 Prototype Engine (note the production trike engine is 1350cc – three times the size of this prototype). In comparison the VW 1600cc Engine used in our trikes develops 109nm of torque and the Harley-Davidson 1450cc V-Twin engine develops 125nm of torque.
  • Improved fuel efficiency
    Revetec design increases the mechanical advantage of an engines bottom end from approx. 64% (conventional) to an amazing 87%+. This increases the total thermal efficiency of a conventional engine (approx 27%) to approximately 50%.
  • Compact Design
  • Lower Engine Weight

The CCE engine is more fuel-efficient than a conventional engine. The technology can be applied to most internal and external combustion engines with greater efficiency. Namely, motor cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, pumps and generators, light aircraft engines and marine engines.

Our GTM HS Trike Series on display in Shanghai, China at the 2004 Automechanika (Automotive) Trade Show. The reception by the public was outstanding, presenting a huge market for our trikes.
The REVETEC CCE2003 Engine fitted into the GTM HS Series Trike is half the depth of the comparable VW 1600 Engine, it weighs less than 50kg (compared to 80kg for the VW).
The REVETEC CCE2003 has a massive torque output for its size, surpasing the comparative performance of other standard boxer (4 cyl.) engines.
